Home Made Honey Butter

Looking for a quick indulgence that will give you the perfect morning pick up?

Try making some Honey Butter!

I made some today using the honey I helped gather myself when I accompanied Brian Higgins, owner of Dixie Bee Company. That was quite an adventure. You can read about it here. I’ve posted some good photos from the day too.

This is so easy and so yummy. Yet it feels so special!

In a small bowl, blend together 1/2 cup softened Butter, 1/3 cup Honey and 1/8 tsp Ground Cinnamon. That’s it!

Spoon it into a container and store it in the refrigerator as you would any butter.

It’s wonderful on toast of course, but wait till you try it melted on top of your weekend pancakes or waffles! Or how about some freshly baked biscuits.

This would also make a beautiful gesture to a loved one who is feeling under the weather or as a welcome neighbor gift. Bake up a batch of muffins and put them in a basket along with some Home Made Honey Butter. What a perfect way to say you care.
