Chocolate Covered Nutella Cookies

Here’s another incredibly easy Cookie to add to your Christmas Treats. There’s still time to get these made too! This is a no cooking recipe that will be gobbled up by young and old alike.

I love Nilla Wafers. I love Nutella. And then there’s Chocolate…

So to me this is a no brainer.

You need

1 box Nilla Wafers

Nutella Spread

Almond Bark – 1 each White and Chocolate. Almond Bark is available in the baking section of your Grocery Store. It contains no Almonds, rather it is a bar of good melting Chocolate.

2 Tbs Shortening

Melt 1/2 bar of Chocolate Almond Bark and 1 Tbs Shortening in a double boiler. Do the same for the Vanilla flavored bar.

Make a sandwich using 2 Nilla Wafers and some Nutella Spread.

Dip each sandwich halfway into the melted Chocolate. I found it helps to put the Bark into a small cup and use tongs to hold the cookie for dipping.

Allow them to cool completely before dipping the other half into the Vanilla Bark.

This seals in the Nutella making it a perfect surprise when someone takes a bite.

Quick, easy and certain to please.
